About me

"Just a small town girl...living in her lonely world.....she took the midnight train going anywhere..."

well kinda...ha ha

I graduated from my degree in singing and dancing and realised (after all that!) that I actually wanted to become a presenter instead...so with nothing but a suitcase full of dreams I took a train to London and started my new life. London was an exciting and incredible city to live in but bled me dry of every penny I made as a waitress at the time. I would wonder the streets by myself and gaze in wonder into the big beautiful windows of fashion, and spend any left over tips change on the latest copy of Vogue.

I then started to work in a big toy store and dressed up everyday as a princess or a doll and even one time as a television...(that was a bad day!). After that I worked in a shop stuffing teddy bears....no, seriously, I did.. after that I worked in another toy department selling nail varnish and that was where I met my white knight.

He walked past me on my very first day of working there with a magical UFO toy spinning around him and said 'hello', and my life has never ever been the same ever since; among other things, he's the one behind the Cinnamon Slipper camera!

After countless auditions and castings I landed my first television job presenting. I came to discover that one of my true passions lies within fashion and lifestyle so I wrote this blog documenting my adventures, my style choices and my takes on the fashion trends of today.

As you can see, I love nothing more than dressing up! I do have a varied and somewhat unusual sense of style; I love for my fashion to make me smile, which sometimes results in cool and quirky and sometimes downright mad!  Anyway, feel free to have a look and see for yourself...thank you for reading my little story and welcome to The Cinnamon Slipper.
